FAQ

The Experience & Preparation

The “Why” and the “How to prepare”

Why immerse yourself in Mongolia ?

In the immensity of Mongolia, we carve out a sanctuary to slow down, to feel, and to listen deeply. In this land, nature is not a simple decor, but a profound presence that awakens the soul.

Where will this journey unfold?

The exact location is not yet fixed, as we are waiting to feel the right place that truly resonates with the energy of the moment.

Nestled somewhere between 2 and 6 hours from Ulaanbaatar, the land itself will guide us to the right area.

Rest assured, we will share this sacred destination with you before your arrival in Mongolia.

Do I need prior experience to start?

No. All practices are beginner-friendly and can be adapted to your comfort level.

What is the physical difficulty level?

The retreat is designed to be gentle and accessible for all. The activities are easy, focusing on slow movement, mindful walking, and deep relaxation rather than physical exertion. You do not need to be an athlete to participate; the pace is set by the group’s comfort, allowing everyone to connect with the land without strain.

What is the weather like?

Summer in Mongolia is a land of vivid contrasts and raw beauty. While you can expect warm, sunny days and cool, crisp nights, the steppe is alive and unpredictable. You may wake to fresh mornings, bask in golden afternoons, and then witness the sky transform into a dramatic storm with sudden rain, strong winds, or even a fleeting snow shower at high altitudes.

This volatility is not a disruption; it is the heartbeat of the true Mongolia. To experience the land is to accept its intensity—where one hour brings blazing sun and the next brings a powerful storm. These shifts are part of the magic, reminding us that we are guests in a wild, untamed world. Come prepared for all elements, and let the weather teach you resilience and awe.

What should I pack?

Comfortable outdoor clothing, layers for cool evenings, good sleeping bag (conmfort 0°C), hiking shoes, swimwear for the sauna and river, and a sense of adventure.

How many participants join each retreat?

To maintain a personal atmosphere, groups are limited to 12 participants.

Will I have internet or phone access?

In the remote landscapes where we immerse ourselves, standard 3G or 4G mobile coverage is often unavailable.

While we maintain a satellite connection strictly for emergencies, we encourage you to embrace this rare opportunity to fully disconnect.

The heart of this experience is to slow down and turn inward; therefore, we gently invite participants to refrain from using digital devices, allowing the silence of the steppe to become your true connection.
